You maybe reading this whilst pregnant or you may have had your baby and be wondering why you should persevere with breastfeeding!
I would love to take a moment to encourage you about the amazing properties of breastfeeding, its health benefits for baby, you and future generations and why you will never regret pushing through the hard times! Please know that there is always non-judgmental support available, and I would love to talk to you about it and help you work through any difficulties you are facing.
I believe that breastfeeding is one of the most important health benefits we can give our children and ourselves. I am constantly amazed at the unique composition of breastmilk and its power to protect. It’s also free and is very environmentally friendly!

The most important benefit of colostrum in the first few days is setting up baby defences. Its like baby first immunisations. There are huge amounts of white blood cells in colostrum that give babies antibodies to everything the mother has been exposed to.
