Service Description

Service includes antenatal bonding with baby and why this is important, colostrum collection and hand expressing. The first Golden hour of a baby’s life, normal baby behaviour in the early days and feeding cues. How to get a good effective latch, how to recognise effective feeding, and different feeding positions The importance of wet and dirty nappies, baby care in the first few weeks of life and what to do when things don’t go to plan. We will also cover bottle feeding support and a full discussion about responsive feeding, paced feeding and safe bottle feeding.
